Dragon Age: Inquisition Stream Reveals New Region, Character Creation Tool, and More
Earlier today BioWare held a special live stream for Dragon Age: Inquisition on Twitch where the developer showcased the game’s character creation tool, a brand new region, plenty of gameplay and more.
The stream is led by game producer Cameron Lee, who also acts as narrator, pointing out the various elements of the game and explaining their purpose.
If I’m not mistaken, this is the first look at the character creation tool and the related customization options available in the game. For any RPG, it’s really important that the player feels content while creating his/her character.
From the stream, it seems that BioWare has put in plenty of options for us to choose from, or at least they seem more than the previous Dragon Age titles. I’m sure that all veteran Mass Effect 3 players would love to get their hands on this title. Later in the stream, BioWare also showed some of the game’s armor schematics.
As for the gameplay shown, it looks tremendously good. Compared to the blunder called Dragon Age 2, combat in Inquisition might seem a bit sluggish but that isn’t a bad thing at all. The game is looking beautiful and also feels so when being played.
There is a lot more shown in the stream, and you can browse through it all by watching it above.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled for release on November 18 for all major platforms – PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The title was originally planned for a release last year but was then delayed to fall this year in order to give the developer more development time.
