Total War: Attila Gets 15 Minutes of Gameplay Footage With Dev Commentary
After Total War Rome II, devs are now ready to bring chaos on the doorsteps of Roman empire with the release of Total War: Attila.
After the start of the campaign mode set in the year 395AD, a warrior by the name of Attila will be born. Upon adulthood, he will lead a nearly an unstoppable army of huns, taking down everything that comes in his way during his march towards the west.
Unfortunately for you, your empire is one of the entities standing in his way. As a leader, it is your job to prepare your alliances and defenses to hold Attila out as much as you can or divert his attention to one of your weaker neighbors.
Maps are not too different from Rome II but some graphical tweaks have been made. The main campaign will run over the course of 60 to 70 years and is played out in seasons. Also the family system has been revamped in order to create more opportunities for securing your legacy.
Dismissals, appointments and marriages are still here but you will also be able to see skill tree for clients and members of your family as they unlock new abilities.
No solid release date is given to the game yet but according to Creative Assembly, Total War Attila will release for PC in 2015.
