The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Check These Highly Detailed In-Game Characters
These new screenshots for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt show two of the in-game character models with an incredible attention to their details.
I have to confess that when I first saw the shots, I figured them to be everything except in-game assets. However, as much as I would love to praise on about the game, I’m once again reminded of how developers love to pass their shots through various filters before finally publishing them on the web.
That said though, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is already looking glorious enough to boast such finely detailed character models. There’s one concern though. It has to be asked whether CD Projekt RED actually plans to use the same high-resolution textures in-game or if the ones they use will be slightly gimped. While the developer has stated that the game will be the same across all platforms, one also wonders if the console version will end up getting nerfed assets.
It’s still too early for CD Projekt RED to confirm what exclusive visual features the PC version will boast. However as is the case most of the times, the PC version will indeed end up with various options that can be turned on the right rigs to lift the game’s visual level by another bar. I just wish they announce the PC requirements before Christmas this year so that we can take advantage of the holiday sale to upgrade our systems.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the last installment in the fantasy trilogy and will be releasing next year in February for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game was originally set for release later this year but was then delayed so that the developers could further polish the game in the extra time.
