Path of Exile Crosses 7 Million Registered Users
New Zealand based indie studio Grinding Gear Games has announced an impressive achievement. The studio has revealed that their action RPG Path of Exile has crossed 7 million registered users.
Grinding Gear Games released Path of Exile in Taiwan in partnership with Garena Online. Since its release in Taiwan the game has gained one million new user accounts in under a month which is quite impressive.
The studio also claimed that the August Forsaken Masters expansion was well received which led to 154,000 online players simultaneously.
The game received a level of success beyond the expectations of Grinding Gear Games and Garena Online. The credit of this success goes to the commitment this studio has shown with their game, constantly keeping it updated with fresh content including a new expansion released every few months.
The latest of these expansion was the Path of Exile: Forsaken Masters. Players in the expansion cross paths with seven Forsaken Masters. Each one of them offers different quests, training missions, item crafting and modification options, tiers of hideout decorations and more in exchange for Exile’s help.
If you are not one of these seven million players but want to be, then you can download the free to play title which features only cosmetic microtransactions by registering on the official website.
