Metal Gear Franchise Makes Its Debut On Mac
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is the first game in Metal Gear Franchise to be made available for Mac. Publisher Konami partnered with TransGaming to bring the 2013 spin off game to Apple’s platform.
It will cost you $30 to buy via Steam but if you do that before Sept 30th, you can save $4.50. Why Mac now? Konami producer Yuji Korekado stated that bringing the game to Mac was “long overdue”.
Metal Gear has been a massive global success on myriad platforms and bringing the series to Mac was long overdue,” Konami producer Yuji Korekado said in a statement. “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was a turning point in the series and is the ideal introduction for new Mac players.
Metal Gear is one of the most popular video game franchises and with time, we are seeing it expand to other platforms. For a long time, this franchise has been a Sony exclusive but that changed after the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots.
Since then we have seen this franchise expanding to MS’s Xbox 360, Xbox One, and it has already been confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: GZ and Phantom Pain will be coming to PC as well.
