Shadow of Mordor Reviews Give us a Clearer and Positive Picture

We are about to set foot in the world of Lord of the Rings again – in fact, we are only four days away from the release date of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

Since there are millions of fans for the universe, I hardly doubt that the game would sell but the critic inside of me wants to be told where the game stands when weighed for its worth.

So I have compiled a list of reviews that the game has received so far, and as I expected, they have come out awesome! Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has won over the critics, here’s how:

IGN – 9.3/10
GameSpot – 8/10
Cheat Code Central – 4.4/5
Game Informer – 8.3/10
Eurogamer – 8/10
Games Radar – 4.5/5
Games TM – 8/10
Destructoid – 6/10
Joystiq – 5/5
PlayStation Lifestyle – 9/10
Polygon – 9.5/10
Hardcore Gamer – 9/10
The Escapist – 9/10
GamesBeat 8/10

Many of the review scores that it has received are channeling along the lines of 8 to 9 but there still are a couple of them that stand out aside of being in stark contrast to each other.

There are reviewers who gave it a 10/10 calling its Nemesis System a revolutionary game mechanic, while another settled on a mere 6/10 saying that they were far too bored with the same Nemesis System.

However, if you need something else to help you decide about the game, check out how the open world looks, or see how dark and scary the world is.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is slated for a release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30 for North America, and on October 3 or European Union. The PC version goes live all over the globe on September 3.
