PC Version of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Appears on UPlay
Rumors of a PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue have been floating on the web for the past couple of days and have now been fueled by a listing that has appeared on the official Uplay Rewards page.
While Ubisoft has yet to announce a Windows port, the sighting of the game on the official website clearly indicates that the game is coming. That or this has been a mistake which the studio will be clarifying soon.
Last week the Associate Producer of the game, Karl Von Der Luhe, said that the company was “looking into” a PC version. There wasn’t an outright confirmation on the port but it was said that the studio has “heard a lot of response requesting a PC version” and so Ubisoft just might be looking into that soon.
However, since the game is scheduled for release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11. It’s possible that the PC version will see to a delayed release.
This year we’re getting two Assassin’s Creed titles and the second one, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, will be releasing on the same November 11 date as well for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The latter is based on the French Revolution while the Rogue is said to be a dark chapter in the franchise.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia in collaboration with Ubisoft Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios.
