Learn About Pagan Min in This New Far Cry 4 Trailer
Ubisoft has released a new Far Cry 4 trailer titled ‘King of Kyrat’ which tells us about the game’s antagonist Pagan Min.
He was born in Hong Kong to a small time drug boss in the Golden Triangle. Growing up, Pagan is described as an ambitious individual who hated working for his father. In his eyes his father had outlived his usefulness and there was so much that could be done.
After his father’s ‘mysterious’ death, Pagan inherited his small piece of the pie. Next step was to leave his old identity behind and adopt the moniker “Pagan,” naming himself after an old Burmese king who murdered his family to take control.
Assembling a small private army, he quickly started taking control of assets after assets. This naturally angered his allies in the heroin trade for Pagan was looking to get everything under his control. It wasn’t long before his allies turned against him.
Surrounded by enemies, he then caught eye of Kyrat. The small failed state with multiple warring factions was perfect to take over and resume operations. He allied himself with the Royalists and after a few months of fighting, took control of the palace.
However, Pagan betrayed the Royalists by murdering the heir and seizing the throne for himself. Anyone else who opposed him died. The betrayal led to the formation of the Golden Path, a small resistance movement dedicated to overthrowing Pagan.
Far Cry 4 is scheduled for release on November 18 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
