The Division Requires Always Online and Will Have Special PvP/PvE Areas

By   /   Sep 25, 2014

Frederik Rundqvist, the executive producer on the highly anticipated title, The Division has shared some new tidbits regarding the upcoming game at EGX 2014.

First, he mentions that there is no way to play the game offline as it is an MMO and to survive in the game’s world, you will need to partner up with other players, for which you will need to be online.

In the game, your squad can go up to four players and one drone. As a team you will come across other AI and human enemies during the game as you will complete certain objectives.

The person controlling the drone will be able to operate it using an app for the game that will be available on mobile phones and tablets.

Furthermore, Rundqvist explained that there will be different PvP and PvE areas in The Division and when you are in a PvP area, you will be able to interact with other teams, however, he did not clarify what kind of interaction it will be.

After the game’s launch, developers are looking forward to bring in updates that will expand the game’s universe even more, so that you always have something new to look forward to.

The Division is expected to launch in the fall of 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. For more information on this upcoming MMO, check out its official website.
