World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition Adds Operations, Tanks And Maps
As always, online portal Wargaming isn’t standing still and continues to burst out updates for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition. It does the same for its PC version, but this time it’s consoles that receive more content.
Most importantly, vague missions and ways to improve your gameplay experience with rewards will now be coming through a dedicated Operations segment in the game. You’ll need to activate missions yourself if you want to double up on challenges, but one will always be on by default.
Naturally, almost every update in World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition comes with some more tanks, because that’s the name of the game. In total, 16 new units will be added to the line-up, divided between the British forces and Germany.
We’ll give you a rundown of vehicles below:
- Loyd GC
- Sexton II
- Birch Gun
- Crusader SP
- Conqueror GC
- Churchill Gun Carrier
- VK 20.01 D
- VK 30.01 D
- VK 30.02 D
- Leopard PT A
- Leopard 1
Moreover, two more maps will make their entry in World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition. Both Redshire and Siegfried Line are more open locations.
In Redshire, you’ll mostly need to deal with the terrain that has bumps everywhere for others to hide behind. There is also a small village and a windmill to top off the rural setting.
Siegfried Line has a slightly more industrial look, though it does retain a natural environment as well. Still, as a result, you’ll also need to deal with a fortification area that’s a lot more restrictive than the open land.
As always, we offer the reminder that World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is only technically free-to-play. Since Xbox Live requires a paying subscription for multiplayer, it’s not actually freely accessible.
