Bloodborne Getting an Alpha Test in Japan, Grab Your Ticket Now

By   /   Sep 24, 2014

Japanese fans of the upcoming PS4 exclusive Bloodborne will soon be able to try out the game by taking part in an Alpha test, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced.

According to Sony, the reason behind this Alpha is to test out the game’s multiplayer features and to check the load on the game’s servers. That’s a good thing because Sony isn’t known for online stability so making sure the experience is as smooth as possible is the right thing to do.

If you want to be a part of the Alpha, don’t wait to be invited automatically because you won’t be. All players with a Japanese account and PS Plus membership can participate but to do so, you will need to get an entry ticket from PSN and those who get selected will receive a confirmation email. You can grab the ticket between Sept 24 and Sept 28 so hurry up, spots are limited.

Players should note that the Alpha will be conducted in three phases, and those who are selected can take part in all three. Content in all three phases will be the same.

First phase will begin on October 1st (8pm-11pm) while the second and third will kick off on October 3rd (8pm-11pm) and October (8pm-11pm) respectively.

Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive and will be available on February 6, 2015. Also, if you like to collect video game inspired items, then Sony, in collaboration with Gecco will release a statue of Bloodborne’s protagonist. No release date or price is announced yet but we will keep you informed on the matter.
