Dragon Age: Inquisition – Archery Abilities Revealed

By   /   Sep 23, 2014

BioWare has shared some of the major archery abilities that will be available in Dragon Age: Inquisition for players who love to rain damage from afar.

The Long Shot
The single shot ability depends upon the distance between the target and you. The greater the distance, the more damage you’ll be able to do to the target.

The Leaping Shot
The ability brings two features to the table. Firstly it makes your character dash in whatever direction you’re facing and hence extends the distance between you and the enemies chasing you. Secondly activating the ability also strikes the enemies with a hail of arrows. Combining this with the Long Shot makes a pretty powerful combination.

The Explosive Shot
As suggested by the name alone, the ability fires a single powerful shot that explodes on impact. The damage done is in a wide arc and hence it’s beneficial to fire at a group of enemies so that multiple enemies are covered in the explosion.

Full Draw
It allows you to line up that perfect shot. You will need some time to charge for this move, but when you pull it off, you can produce a devastating strike, that is particularly super effective against enemies who have not yet been struck.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled for release on November 18 on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
