Bladestorm: Nightmare is Coming to the West in Early 2015
You might have been worrying why Bladestorm: Nightmare is not making its way to the west. Well, worry no more because Koei Tecmo has announced that they have plans for it in the first quarter of 2015.
This means Europe and North America – for those who are still a little confused.
The official word shared by Koei Tecmo most recently is that the game will be following the 2007 title of the series that goes with the name of Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War. All this and more was shared on the official Facebook page of the publisher Koei Tecmo along with an overview of the game:
“Bladestorm: Nightmare follows Bladestorm: the Hundred Years War, which was released in 2007 on PS3 and X360. It is a strategy game at its core, focusing around the historical events that transpired in Europe of the middle-ages. The player assumes the role of a mercenary and chooses to fight either for England or for France in various battles of the 100 year’s war.”
Also, they have mentioned that the name being given to the game is only a working title and it might get changed in the future.
That is not all the post also came with seven brand new screenshots of the game which will definitely be a treat to the eyes of the people who are fond of historical tactical videogames.
Other than that, the three platforms that Bladestorm: Nightmare is being developed for include PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. How many of you played the original game in the series? Would you give this one a try?
