Check The Big Euro Nintendo eShop Update This Week

By   /   Sep 23, 2014

As the holiday is slowly creeping up on us all, Nintendo is picking up speed again. This results in a sizable drop in this week’s European eShop update, with plenty titles on both platforms to peruse, though most prevalent on the handheld side.

On Nintendo 3DS, several bigger titles become part of the digital lineup. Most importantly, Fantasy Life from developer Level-5 launches its blend of simulation and roleplaying game (RPG) for €39.99.

It’s possible to see a cute, vibrant world in a 3D environment through the eyes of twelve different classes, each with their specific gameplay elements. You’ll be able to switch between styles to discover new things.

Strangely enough, the new release already comes with downloadable content (DLC). To prolong your journey, you can download the Origin Island Expansion Pack for €7.99.

Violetta Rhythm and Music

Other big hitters on Nintendo 3DS this week include the 2D brawler Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle for €34.99. It’s possible to customize fighters from over 100 different parts and game modes include a co-op version of the campaign as well as up to 4 players in versus mode.

For sports fans, FIFA 15 also lands on the eShop for 3DS only, at a price of €39.99. Beware, however, that this is one of those “Legacy Edition” deals, where no actual work has gone into the game, but rather only kits have been updated.

Music fans can jump on the digital release of KORG DSN-12, which lets you mimic the tiny synthesizer for €29.99. For just rhythm action, there is Violetta: Rhythm and Music for €29.99, which includes live action clips and trivia as well.

Small prices can be found on the 3DS eShop as well, with the likes of elaborate block puzzler Sokomania 2: Cool Job for €1.99 or classic mini-game collection Game & Watch Gallery 3 for €4.99. In particular, take a look at Demon King Box and its blend of roleplaying game (RPG), tower defense and Persona collecting elements for €3.99.

Nobunaga's Ambition

On the Wii U side of the Nintendo eShop update, things are a bit more low-key with additions like physics puzzle title Art of Balance for €6.70. Classic conquest strategy title Nobunaga’s Ambition from Koei Tecmo gets ported for €7.99, if you feel like taking on taking over feudal Japan.

Weird party game Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party gets a free demo on the eShop as well. In lesser news, Angry Bunnies: Colossal Carrot Crusade gets you a shameless physics puzzler clone for €6.99.

There’s definitely something for you to pick up this week, so let us know in the comments.
