ArcheAge Price Reduced After Fan Outrage, Good Enough?
Trion Worlds has reduced the price of Archeage subscription after community feedback. The prices were around 20% higher than originally promised and fans were not happy about it. Trion has said that the pricing was a misunderstanding on their side.
“Some of you have rightly pointed out that in a live stream leading up to ArcheAge’s launch, we mentioned that the Patron prices in GBP would match the same as our pricing for RIFT patron, and that this wasn’t the case by the time the game shipped,” said Trion.
Fans were disappointed to know that they have to pay £10.99 for one month of Patron. That is £2 more than it was originally suggested.
“In the meanwhile, we’d like to put our money where our mouth is. We’re making a price adjustment that brings reality in line with our previous assurance.”
Thankfully, the prices are now changed and one month Patron is now priced at £8.99 while the 3 month Patron and 6 month Patron is available for £23.97 and £41.94 respectively.
Furthermore, players who are on automatically renewing plans will cycle to the new prices once their existing cycles end.
