Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain New Companion Is An Eye-Patched Wolf

By   /   Sep 22, 2014

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is already filled with some amazing characters, but it looks like Kojima doesn’t want to stop here as he has revealed a new companion for Snake, Diamond Dog (D.D), which you will come across during one of the game’s missions.

This newly unveiled diamond dog is actually a wolf, and he will be just like Quiet, helping Snake in some of the missions. If you are looking to learn more about the origin story of this Wolf, then check out the video attached above.

This new companion will come with an eye patch as well, so that it can look like its master, the Big Boss.

However, it is still uncertain what kind of moves will he have and how he will be able to help the players in the game, but the rest assured this is a great addition to the open world game as it opens all sorts of possibilities.

Diamond Dog seems like an interesting entry in the roster of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and he will surely come in handy when you are on an infiltrating mission.

We will see how the companions will combine to help us on our missions when Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain launches next year for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
