Lords of the Fallen Runs at 900p on Xbox One, PS4 Enjoys 1080p Yet Again
Deck 13 has today officially revealed that its upcoming Lords of the Fallen RPG will run on a lower resolution on the Xbox One, compared to the PlayStation 4.
Speaking with VideoGamer, Creative Director Tomasz Gop confirmed that the game will run at 900p on the Xbox One, while Sony’s latest console will enjoy a full 1080p glory.
Gop added that except for the difference in resolutions, the game is pretty much similar in all aspects on both the platforms. Additionally, the development of the game is nearing completion so that will be something to get the fans excited.
“It’s really, really close [to completion], pretty much the only thing that we’re doing is last minute fixes, but we’ve already been certified. We’re already past the US certification for PlayStation.”
Back in April this year, Gop had said that they were more interested in achieving a rock-splid 30 fps count on a full 1080p resolution, rather than try go for 60 fps by lowering the resolution.
At the time while there was no official confirmation, it was rumored that Deck 13 had manged to easily gain 1080p resolution on the PS4. Seems like the work put in the past months could not help increase the resolution for the Xbox One.
Lords of the Fallen is scheduled to launch on October 31 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
