In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
Could Silent Hills Xbox One Version Be a Possibility?
Well, the Playable Teaser aka P.T was released to PlayStation 4 as an exclusive only to reveal later that it was actually the next (hopefully episodic) Silent Hill game that Hideo Kojima is making.
Up until now, we have thought, by default that the game will also be a PlayStation 4 exclusive – or a Sony exclusive at least. So is there any chance of a Silent Hills Xbox One version really?
We don’t have much for you, but let’s just say if mentioning the rival console when talking about an exclusive title is supposed to raise questions.
Here’s what really happened! During Kojima’s Silent Hills demo, the writer for the game mentioned both Xbox One and PS4 and talked about what their technology lets them do.
It could be that he mentioned both the consoles not because they have a Silent Hills Xbox One version up their sleeves but because he was talking about the latest generation of technology in general.
The source of the information is also a translation from an unofficial source so all this amounts to is just a rumor.
Nevertheless, this won’t be the first time that a Silent Hills Xbox One version has been rumored. Previously there was this alleged email where the game had not been marked as an exclusive. Even after that, no profound negation was provided by the developer.
Whatever the case is, it is high time that we get the next installment in the series and while I am saying that, there could be a lot of people out there who would love to get a Silent Hills Xbox One version, maybe Kojima should actually make it a reality.
