In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
DD is the Latest Addition to MGS5: The Phantom Pain, Snake’s Pet
We all know Snake very well and I think all of us would agree how the eye patch suits him. Apparently Kojima doesn’t think that the game is good enough without a wolf and another character with an eye patch. So they have given both of those to us in the shape of DD.
As you can see above, DD is actually Diamond Dog, a canine companion that Snake can keep with him through the game. The trailer starts with our protagonist getting off of a helicopter, and getting jumped by a young DD.
While trying to talk, he keeps getting irritated by the wolf’s constant licks.
Some time passes and then we see DD all grown up and apparently going on some MGS5: The Phantom Pain mission with Snake. Oh and this time around, she has an eye patched just like her master.
In the game, DD will be working the same as Quiet who can be used for help by the players – both the characters are optional of course. Moreover, apparently Ocelot players can train Diamond Dog.
I wonder when Kojima will stop teasing and get on with the release date announcement. What we know so far is the MGS5: The Phantom Pain is being developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and that it will be released next year.
