Titanfall IMC Rising DLC New Map “Sand Trap” Unveiled By Respawn

By   /   Sep 19, 2014

Titanfall IMC Rising DLC gets another map called Sand Trap, which will join Backwater and Zone 18 upon its launch later this year.

This new map for the game is described by the game designer, Chris Dionne as:

One of my main goals with Sand Trap was to use old ideas in new ways. In the center is a buried bunker inspired by the buried architecture in Fracture; this lets Titans stomp around above while pilots scurry below.

Across the map are deep trenches that create a well-run highway for pilots; inspired by wall running in Rise they give quick and (relatively) safe routes across the map.

The trench network seems to be the focal point of this new map as the Pilots will be able to take refuge in them from the Titans, and it will certainly add a fresh feel to the title.

Respawn has also revealed that it is going to hold live stream on 23rd of September on its official Twitch account, where all three unveiled maps will be shown to public in Titanfall.

IMC Rising DLC of Titanfall has no fixed release date, but it is expected to release sometime this year.

Are you looking forward to try out these new maps in Titanfall?
