Surprise, surprise! Although Dark Dreams Dont Die aka D4 is an Unreal Engine 4 based game, neither the developer Access Games nor Microsoft worked on the marketing as much as they should seeing the lack of titles for Xbox One. However, D4 is releasing tomorrow.

The game is a mystery adventure based cel-shaded Xbox One exclusive that has been directed by Hidetaka Suehiro aka Swery the man behind Deadly Premonition. It revolves around David Young a PI whose wife was murdered two years ago. Now, he uses his time traveling power to go back in time and uncover the murder case.

As you can see from the launch trailer above, Dark Dreams Don’t Die is pretty weird just like the trailer itself. It took us a while to figure out what was going on. Young has traveled back in time and now we are being shown how to play the game using Kinect only.

From the looks of it, the Kinect based movements will look pretty nice; for instance we see the character catching kitchen utensils being thrown at him by a hot girl. Check it out yourself and tell us what you think.

Dark Dreams Don’t Die (D4) is an Xbox One exclusive and will set you back by $14.99 if you wish to purchase it.
