Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath Getting Traditional Chinese Version in 2015

Sega has been pretty quiet about the western release of its newly revealed title Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath; however, the publisher has revealed that a traditional Chinese version of the game is going to release in 2015.

This news is quite surprising because China is not the country that gets a lot of localizations of video games. On the other hand, the question of western release of the title still hasn’t been answered. Could it be that the publisher is seeing more potential in Chinese market than the western?

Yakuza: Dead Souls was the last entry to be released outside of Japan, after that Yakuza 5 and Yakuza Ishin were released but none of them made their way out of the country.

People were hoping that Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath might come to the west but the chances of that are looking quite slim at the moment.

Yakuza Zero is going to take the players on a journey to the earlier days of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, where both of them are young and are looking to make a name for themselves.

Do you think Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath will come to the west?
