Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit! Launches With Rosanna Pansino Clip
Publisher Majesco has launched Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit! on Nintendo 3DS in North America. It’s available in retail stores for a price of $29.99.
There should also be an eShop version for the game with a similar price. If you’re unsure about purchasing the latest in cutesy cooking splendor, you can at least check out the demo on the eShop.
Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit, which we’ll be naming without the needless exclamation point, is yet more mini-game madness. There are 60 recipes to conjure, with anything from drinks to whole courses.
There will also be activities to perform outside of the kitchen. Mama can go to the Burger Shop, feed pets, deliver orders or play word games, among others.
Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit features six game modes in total. Additionally, its multiplayer component includes a single cart download play, so you can team up with three others who don’t yet own the game.
For the launch of the 3DS title, Majesco has teamed up with Youtube personality Rosanna Pansino, who specializes in making recipes inspired by nerd culture. Pansino has no idea how to pronounce “croissants,” but otherwise there’s a nice tutorial on how to make chocolate cornets.
We’re definitely not cooks that can transition this sort of thing to real life, however effortless Pansino makes it look in the video. We’ll just stick to playing Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit, where we can pretend that slashing across the touchscreen with a stylus is the same thing as making complex pastries.
Our favorite mini-game is filling in the form to get pizza delivered. It works with amazing results every time.
