Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Kill Confirmed Multiplayer Mode Revealed
Another day and another reveal episode for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Today developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed the inclusion of the “Kill Confirmed” multiplayer mode.
The video above features the first gameplay footage of the mode in action and has lead multiplayer designer Greg Reisdorf narrating. “Kill Confirmed” has also been featured in previous Call of Duty titles.
In it players drop dog tags when they are killed. Collecting the tags of an enemy player earns you points, while collecting those of a team mate’s denies the enemy team from doing so.
The gameplay shown is on the “Retreat” multiplayer map which was revealed earlier this month.
Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey has promised more details on the game’s co-op mode later this month. The developer is expected to release a new trailer just for the sake of it.
The game’s storyline focuses on the threat of private military companies, and takes place in an age where soldiers are fitted with exo-suits that are capable of enhancing attributes. In the multiplayer, players will be able to take advantage of these powered up feats.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is scheduled for release later this year for all major platforms.
