Alien Isolation Survivor Mode Detailed, Add-ons Also Discussed

By   /   Sep 17, 2014

In the recent days, the developers of Alien Isolation have been sharing different trailers for specific features of the game and its world. Now, it’s time to talk about the different modes that the game is going to offer. The first on the list is Survivor Mode.

The official PlayStation US Blog received a post from community manager of The Creative Assembly Ngan Nguyen today.

He talked about what the Survivor Mode is going to be about and why exactly is it so tough:

Survivor Mode is you versus the creature, against the clock and in a desperate bid for survival. With few resources on each map, players will have to take full advantage of what they can find to complete objectives and escape. On October 7th, those brave enough to face the challenge can experience the first map of Survivor Mode — Basement — with their copy of Alien Isolation.

Moving on, he also shared that come October 28, you will be able to get your hands on the first add-on for the Survivor Mode. This will be one off a total of five DLCs that will be released to the game. The add-on will bring you three new maps and each one of them will have new challenges, enemies, objectives and a playable character.

In the month of November more content will be released and if you are interested in getting your hands on these, the Season Pass might get you all of the five packs at a 25% discount.

For those of you who have been living under the rock so far, October 7, 2014 is the date when the game releases worldwide.

Alien Isolation is being developed by The Creative Assembly for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Who is ready for the ever escalating survival horror environment?
