Lara Croft and Temple of Osiris Will Run At 1080p/30FPS

By   /   Sep 16, 2014

Frame rate and resolution are among the most talked about topics of this generation, and it pushes devs to meet the expectations of the fans. These two details are one of the most important to come out for any game and are considered crucial these days to give a positive impression to gamers and media alike.

Lara Croft and Temple of Osiris devs said it’s their “guarantee” that they are going to launch the game with a minimum of 30 fps and 1080p visuals. Which means they will look to go past that “wherever” they can.

According to Crystal Dynamics Executive Producer Scott Amos:

It’s one of the things we always look at. Launching with 30 frames and 1080p is our guarantee, that’s a way of saying, that’s the minimum bar we’re always going to shoot for, and then we always go past that wherever we can.

The isometric action-adventure Lara Croft and Temple of Osiris is a follow-up to Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light released back in 2010. The new title will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC starting December 9, 2014.
