Forza Horizon 2 Will Receive Eight Free Cars on Release Day
Forza Horizon 2 has gone gold and will release on October 3 alongside eight free downloadable cars, Microsoft has announced.
The free additions come as part of the Launch Bonus Car Pack, which will be available to all players for free. You won’t require a premium membership to attain these.
The vehicles in question are:
- 2003 Ford Focus RS
- 1997 Land Rover Defender 90
- 1993 Clio Williams
- 2015 Ford Mustang GT
- 1987 Buick Regal GNX
- 2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV
- 1968 Abarth 595 esseesse
- 1956 Ford F-100
As for the game’s VIP membership, it will cost £15.99, or £7.99 for Forza Motorsport 5 VIP members. Members will be given access to the VIP Car Pack which includes five cars, access to exclusive multiplayer events, special in-game recognition, 2x player in-game reward acceleration, and in-game gifts from the community team.
Forza Horizon 2 also has a Car Pass which costs £19.99. This will net players six monthly add-on packs, each contain five cars and will start from October. In total the pass will get you 31 extra cars, with one exclusive bonus ride: The 2010 Noble M600. More details on the first monthly car pack for Forza Horizon 2 is promised soon.
Finally, starting today you can download the Forza Horizon 2 game demo from Xbox Live to get a taste of things to come. The game is also available for pre-order and then pre-download from Microsoft’s online store.
