Destiny Update 1.03 is Here, Campuses Error to be Fixed
One week after the release of the year’s most anticipated first-person shooter and things are going as ordinary as possible.
Meaning that we have the usual glitches, the required fixes and regular updates – thank Bungie. Now, the Destiny Update 1.03 is here, and it will, hopefully, get rid of quite a lot of the issues we are facing.
The update in question weighs in at 296MB and is a mandatory patch that you will have to install in order to be able to play the game further. It will eject you from the game, and you will receive an auto update, if you haven’t already got it.
Sadly, the developers have not shared any official patch notes for the Destiny Update 1.03 and the only official word we have received from them so far is through the Help section of their website which reads:
Pardon our dust! Destiny is being updated. You will be returned to the title screen to install a title update and will be able to continue playing afterwards.
Looking at what has been happening over the past, we have at least two fixes incoming.
One is definitely going to be for the infinite ammo exploit that some of the players found in the game, and the other are going to be for the Centipede Error that struck the university campuses.
Talking about the latter, we were told by the developers that they had isolated the problem and were ‘working with security device manufacturers to release a fix this coming Monday, September 15.’
So this part is assuredly fixed. In the same thread, we were told that more details would be added to the post regarding the Destiny Update 1.03.
Keep a look out folks!
