Titanfall Zone 18 Map Gets First Screenshots and Details

Repawn Entertainment is detailing contents of the upcoming IMC Rising DLC one by one, the most recent aspect they highlighted was a new map.

The official website of Titanfall received a new post that thoroughly detailed the Titanfall Zone 18 map along with multiple screenshots as well as a backstory that will tell you something about where the map comes from in the game world. Here it is:

“Inside an old IMC base hidden in the vast wilderness of the Dakota system, advanced IMC robotics research continues, despite the destruction of Hammond Robotics’ corporate headquarters on the Frontier. Until recently, the Militia knew the region only as the decommissioned “Zone 18”, the way it was labeled on stolen IMC maps provided by Barker. Now, picking up mysterious sensor readings from the area, the Militia deploys recon teams to investigate.”

Coming towards the details regarding the Titanfall Zone 18 map itself, the developers said that it will be fast paced map where you will get two sections that will have a supply path in the center.

From what I could understand right now, the interiors of the buildings will be a more suitable option for you if you want a more secure approach. The rooftops, which have usually been a popular choice among Titanfall players, might not be as much of a preferable choice. That is because there is very less cover on the roofs.

Other than that, there are going to be underground hallways that will be linked with three hardpoints of the map. This will give you a new way to escape an imminent attack from a Titan by going underground. However, having multiple entrances it won’t mean that you will be cut off from the game and your enemies.

The Titanfall Zone 18 map will be released with the IMC Rising DLC.
