Shadow Warrior Releases on PS4 This Fall
Flying Wild Hog’s 2013 Shadow Warrior is being rebooted and will release on the PlayStation 4 this fall.
The remake takes into account the strengths of the original title, which was released back in 1997 for the PC, with updated modern visuals and gameplay elements to appeal to fans.
Players will have access to four different areas that span across 17 chapters, where each one is filled to the brim with enemies just waiting for your arrival. According to Sony, the game will run at native 1080p and pump out constant 60 frames per second.
New features include the addition of special powers, skills and weapon customization. Players can utilize the touchpad controls of the PlayStation 4 controller to perform all of the combos and special moves.
To do so, they’ll need to simply swipe their fingers in one of the four directions and press the trigger to execute the move.
Shadow Warrior relishes in a mix of melee and ranged combat. There’s no need to stick to a single style and running low on ammo could actually be a very good thing. Simply switch to your sword and begin slashing your way through the enemies.

The game will be priced at $39.99, with Devolver Digital and Majesco Entertainment handling digital and retail distribution respectively in North America. Shadow Warrior stars Lo Wang, who has to put down the evil corporation Zilla Enterprise and its plans for domination.
