Super Smash Bros. Wii U Release Date Leaked to be November 21
A pre-order card said to be from retail store Fred Meyer suggests that Nintendo’s brawler, Super Smash Bros., will release for the Wii U in North America on November 21.
An image of the card was posted on Twitter yesterday by user BluesDriveBuster, who captioned it with “Official Smash WiiU Release.”
While for now the date looks authentic enough, Nintendo still hasn’t officially given their confirmation on the matter. It’s also interesting to note that in the leaked image there’s text that state that the release date if subject to change.
Nintendo has previously only mentioned that the game will see to a “winter 2014” release. We’re now waiting on a confirmation from the company to confirm that players will be able to go bananas in the brawler in November. The 3DS version of the game is on track for a release on October 3 in North America.
Earlier this week, Hori Battle pads were confirmed for a release on the Wii U in November. That also ties in with the already November 21 date suggested this weekend.
There are two versions of the upcoming pads. One of which is the Hori Battle Luigi version (in green) and the other is Hori Battle Pad Mario Versions (in red) . Both are available for pre-order at Amazon for the price of $24.99.
