An Aged Adewale Will Return in Assassin’s Creed: Rogue

Yesterday, Ubisoft Tweeted an image of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and asked fans if they could identify the character shown in it.

“Another familiar face is back in #ACRogue. Do you recognize the Assassin crossing swords with Shay?” asked the developer.

The familiar face is of Adewale, who in his aged and bearded self will be returning to the upcoming Assassin’s Creed installment. In the image he is shown fighting with Shay and looks as sharp as ever.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue takes place around 25 years after the events of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Hence, the weathered look of Adewale.

Ubisoft had previously hinted that the story of the game’s lead character Shay Patrick Cormac will somehow tie in with the Kenway family saga, which began in Assassin’s Creed III and then continued in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Just how it ties up is unknown but with the game releasing next month, Ubisoft could very well give away some more information on the matter.

The game is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia in collaboration with Ubisoft Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios. According to the developer, Rogue is the “darkest chapter in the franchise” to date.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will release on November 11 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
