Shadow of Mordor Gameplay Trailer Shows Open World with Gollum

Just as we entered the month of release for Shadow of Mordor, the developers Monolith Productions have started pouring new information, videos and whatnot regarding the action role-playing game.

The latest we have is a seven-minute long gameplay trailer that was taken from a livestream from here.

From what it looks like, the events shown in the video are from the earlier stages of the game but of course the sandbox element means it could happen at a later time too.

It kicks off with Gollum sitting in the dark talking to itself, and then we see Talion treading into some ruins, he uses his abilities to reveal enemies that are otherwise hidden and keeps moving forward. You also get glimpses of the Celebrimbor.

Previously, we had a trailer where the lead actors talked about the game with some gameplay; another that introduced the character Ratbag the Coward and then there was one that showed off how dark and scary the world of Middle-Earth is.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is slated for a release to Microsoft Windows on September 30.

The PS4 and Xbox One version will also release in the North American regions on the same date but come to UK on October 3, 2014. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are not going to come out until November 18 in North America and November 21 in UK.
