GTA 5 PS4 Version Demo Was Shown Behind the Closed Doors, Impressions Inside

We are only five days short of being one year ahead of the day when GTA 5 was unleashed onto the PS3 and Xbox 360 market. Soon after its release on previous generation of consoles, there has been a lot of discussion about GTA 5 coming to current-gen and PC.

And finally, we are getting there, and evidence is a demo that was shown behind closed doors at a conference in Anaheim.

Although we have not been able to get our hands on the 45 minute long demo, we have been lucky enough to get thoroughly narrated impressions – thanks to this NeoGAF user.

Based on what the thread tells us, multiple locales were shown including underwater areas and the country side. It was noted that thing like grass blades, tree barks, wild flowers, coral reefs and even underwater plants had been completely redone.

Talking of water, the rivers, oceans and even the rain has been reworked as well. Last but not the least; the animals have been completely revamped.

While the person in question says that the GTA 5 PS4 version looked 1080p, we will probably have to wait for confirmation on that. However, he said that jagging had been reduced magnanimously.

As far as the promised new content is concerned, the first bit of that was shown in the form of new soundtrack, new songs and new radio stations.

In the end, if you were looking forward to a release date for the GTA 5 PS4 and Xbox One version, you are in for a disappointment. Although the game looks ready for a release date and/ or a new trailer, Rockstar didn’t share either.
