Civilization: Beyond Earth Gets 30 Minutes of Covert Ops Gameplay

By   /   Sep 12, 2014

Fans of the Sid Meier’s Series would be pleased to know that the Civilization: Beyond Earth is shaping up nicely as we draw closer to the release of the upcoming title. While Civilization games have not been hyped on espionage, this 30 minutes gameplay video shows that cover ops in the game might get very, very interesting come October.

Firaxis Games, the developer recently held a livestream in which Pete Murray and the lead designer of the game Will Miller discussed the new covert ops system. The video of the stream is now on YouTube.

Check out the complete video above and tell us what you think.

Oh and if you are already in for the game but have not preordered it yet, my advice is that you do that; because everyone who orders the game beforehand is going to get the Exoplanets Map Pack for free. This includes six maps of real exoplanets.

Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth is being regarded as a spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri and for the fans of both of these titles, the game will be out on October 24, 2014 for Microsoft Windows.
