Assassin’s Creed Unity ESRB Rating Mentions Intense Violence, Sexual Themes
According to the ESRB rating, Assassin’s Creed Unity will feature some intensely violent scenes, sexual themes, gore and strong language.
Considering the Assassin’s Creed Franchise is based around violence (Assassins killing Templars and vise versa) this is not surprising. However, the upcoming installment Assassin’s Creed Unity is expected to be more violent compared to previous entries, mainly due to its French Revolution setting. The game has been rated “M” for mature audience above the age of 17.
As you know, the French Revolution was an era of political and social disruption and Ubisoft is putting their Assassins based Saga right in the middle of it.
Unity will put us in the shoes of protagonist Arno Dorian, who sets out to uncover and expose the true source of power fueling the revolution from behind the scenes.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is a next-gen exclusive and Will be made available starting November 11 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Unity isn’t the only Assassin’s Creed title coming out this year, players on last-gen systems like PS3 and Xbox 360 are not left out and will be able experience the franchise in the form of Assassin’s Creed Rogue on the same day.
