Sunset Overdrive Gets a New Trailer By Microsoft Japan
Tokyo Game Show is right around the corner and Sunset Overdrive will be one of the guns Microsoft will be pulling out at the event.
Microsoft Japan released a new trailer of the upcoming Xbox One exclusive ahead of the Japanese event later this month. The footage shows some gameplay element of the title like jumping and grinding and so far, it looks incredibly fun to play
Microsoft launched its next-gen console in Japan just recently and unfortunately the console only managed to sell 23,562 units in the first four days.
Compared to Japanese Xbox 360 launch back in December 2005, the console sold around 62,135 units in half as many days. Tokyo Game Show is a great opportunity for Microsoft to showcase some exclusive titles and grab some attention from the fans in Japan.
The sales numbers are more disappointing when compared to the sales figures for PS4 which managed to sell 308,000 units during its first week on sale in Japan, while Nintendo’s Wii U managed 322,000.
Microsoft needs to take some serious steps if they want to give any competition to its competitors in the region. The company recently announced its lineup for the Tokyo Game Show and you can read more about it here.
Sunset Overdrive is developed by Insomniac Games and will launch for Xbox One on October 28.
