Steam Holds Capcom Publisher Weekend Sale
Well, it looks like sales are back already in a big way. This weekend, Steam has a pretty sizable promotion running with the Capcom publisher weekend.
Most of Capcom’s popular franchises are featured with different iterations, with discounts from %50 to %80. There are also a few package deals, as well as a ton of packs that bundle their game with the full run of downloadable content (DLC) they have.
Your first order of business should be to pick up Dark Void Zero. One, it only costs €0.79, so you won’t miss the money. Additionally, it’s also a pretty cool classically styled platform gunner.
Maybe throw another buck at Age of Booty, since it’s likely a lesser known strategy title and at €0.99 it’s not exactly a steep price.
At an 80% discount, picking up Remember Me would possibly the most opportune time. It will set you back €5.59, which sounds fair.
As long as we’re plugging games you’ve missed, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege is 75% off at €4.99. And yes, that’s Jean Reno from Léon: The Professional in there, for some reason.
You can also see that Capcom knows exactly when its games stink, because Resident Evil 6 that has a 75% discount, is cheaper than Resident Evil 5 that is just %50 off. And to think people were initially upset about the fifth game.
Capcom has announced that its titles will drop Games for Windows Live and transition to Steamworks. Not all games have been confirmed yet, but just give it time, it will happen.
If you’re not into Capcom, Steam also has a weekend deal for Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Additionally, both GOG and Humble have their own sales going on.
