Metal Gear Collection 2014 Teased by Kojima, What is it about?
While Kojima Productions is all set up for an important reveal regarding Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain at the Tokyo Game Show this year, they are also prepping us for something new.
Apparently, Hideo Kojima is planning something called Metal Gear Collection 2014. Basically, what happened was that the game creator took to his official twitter profile to tease an image that has nothing more than the name above.
You may see it below!

One important thing, however, is that the image he shared was not one from a computer but rather a picture taken off of a screen (most probably a presentation screen). The first thing that this tells us is that whatever it is, we should expect a reveal very soon.
Moving on, I can’t help but think that this cannot mean anything other than a new collection series of games from the Metal Gear world. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Konami decides to do something like that as well.
They have previously released Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and most recently Metal Gear Solid HD collection.
The latest installment in the series is going to be Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain and it is being developed for Microsoft Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It will be release either in the first quarter of 2015 apparently.
From where I can see, the Metal Gear Collection 2014 will probably come a little earlier than that, would you like to stretch your legs with it around the turn of the year?
