This Free Exclusive Assassin’s Creed Figure Makes You Wish You Went To Baseball Games
San Francisco is a haven when it comes to technology and that includes games; it’s not a secret. That’s why so many gaming companies are centered there, like one giant family.
Therefore, the crossover that happened at AT&T Park at the South harbor may seem a bit farfetched, but it actually makes a lot of sense. During a baseball game yesterday, the first 10,000 fans were greeted with a free Assassin’s Creed figurine from the notable Todd McFarlane series.
This event, Giants Gamer’s Night, took place during the game between the San Francisco Giants and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Publisher Ubisoft has their office just a few houses down 3rd street, at walking distance.
The Assassin’s Creed figurine in question features protagonist Arno from the upcoming Unity iteration. Instead of historically appropriate accessories, however, this exclusive version receives a cute baseball bat and batting helmet on the side.
Only moments after the match, the Giants Gamer’s Night figurine already landed on auction sites, like eBay. There are a few “Buy it Now” options that vary between $40 and $60, depending on how fast you want to jump on this version.
Assassin’s Creed has a sizable relationship with the McFarlane toys. Together, they’ve created depictions for most of the protagonists in the series
Recently, Ubisoft had to announce that Assassin’s Creed Unity would be delayed from its original October release. It will now launch on November 11 in North America and November 13 in Europe.
Oh, and thanks to the help of Arno, the Giants beat those Arizonians 5-0. Go Giants.
