Disney Infinity 2.0 Adds Yondu and Falcon

Disney Interactive has announced the addition of two new characters to its upcoming Disney Infinity 2.0 title.

The first addition is of Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy. The consumers have shown a strong interest in the ‘merchandize’, seeing how good the movie has been performing in the box office and how great the pre-order sales have been for Rocket racoon and the Guardians play set.

Besides Yondu, Rocket, Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora and Groot will also be featured in the Guardians play set this fall. It was only a matter of time before Disney finally announced the addition of all of its major characters to bank on that consumer interest.

The second new character to be added is Falcon from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He will join the roster of Marvel Super Heroes, but his figurine will not be arriving in stores until 2015.

Last month, the game’s executive producer John Vignocchi revealed that the game would also be getting Aladdin and Jasmine as playable characters.

In Disney Infinity 2.0, each character has a unique set of abilities and is sold separately. Either that or you can purchase a whole set, for example, the Marvel and Guardians play set.
