Microsoft Offering Replacements For Noisy Xbox One Consoles

By   /   Sep 10, 2014

Microsoft has been receiving complaints from some of the Xbox One users that their console is louder than it should be, to which the company has taken full responsibility and has stated that it will replace those Xbox One consoles with brand new consoles.

We have heard that a small number of Xbox One owners in some situations may hear a noise from the console that is too loud. While this does not affect the safety or functionality of the system, we’re asking customers who believe they are experiencing this issue to contact Xbox Support: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/. At the request of our customers, we are exchanging those consoles for new systems.

It’s certainly a good step from Microsoft as it will allow the owners of defected machine to get a better one without paying anything.

In a related news, Microsoft has revealed the changes that will be coming to the console in October update including new friends section, snap features and more.
