Legal discussions are currently underway between WWE Superstar CM Punk and WWE officials to settle a number of disputes, and which would decide his removal for the new WWE 2K15 title.

According to a report by GameSpot, sources close to the matter have confirmed that CM Punk’s legal representatives have been in touch with WWE officials.

The pro-wrestler’s departure from the company while under contract in January is a big thorn in the side of the matter.

Amongst other matters, the issue of the wrestler’s removal from WWE 2K15 might prove to be a big blow for fans. Despite his retirement or departure, publisher 2K Games decided on using his name as part of a promotional campaign for the title.
