The Sims 4 Achievements Guide

In The Sims 4, there are a total of 64 in-game Achievements that players can unlock while playing the game. Each one of these Achievements touches different aspect of the game and give players a wider exposure of the game’s world.

The Sims 4 Achievements

In this guide, I’ll be detailing each of these Achievements and precise strategies to earn them with ease.

Do note that while some of these Achievements are relatively easy to obtain, there are some which require more grinding and patience.

Career Related

Are you Entertained
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Entertainer career path.

Just keep on increasing your Comedy or Musician skill followed by either going for Comedian or Musician branch. Once you’ve done that, just keep on practising Violin/Piano or comedic acts and you’ll earn it in no time.

Flying Colors
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Painter career path.

The idea behind getting this Achievement is to keep on painting and increasing your skill – which will obviously take some time.

I, Spy
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in Secret Agent career path.

This career path requires you to have increased level in Charisma and Physical Fitness skill. Furthermore, you’ll need to buy a computer to do some research on secret databases.

Knack of All Trades
This Achievement requires you to reach max level in every career path.

First off, note that you don’t have to do this with a single Sim. There are a total of 8 career paths which are further divided into two branches. You need to excel in only one branch and the Achievement will unlock.

Startup Upstart
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Tech Guru career path.

This career puts focus on Programming and Videogaming skill than any other. Make sure to work on these skills and complete promotion requirements which includes modding videogames and developing plugins.

Stellar Work
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Astronaut career path.

With this career path, you will be putting lots of focus on the Physical Fitness and Logic skills. Keep on playing games of Chess and reading books on Logic to excel in this career path.

Suave Criminal
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Criminal career path.

Unlike Tech Guru, Writer, or Painter, this career path requires you to work on lots of skills which include Charisma, Logic, Physical Fitness, and Mischief. Keep on developing these skills and you’ll ultimately turn out to be a high profile criminal.

Make sure to do some hacking and have a couple of Sims despise you to make a thing go a little faster.

The Pen is Mightier
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Writer career path.

This career path requires nothing more than just writing and sometime developing Charisma skills. Make sure to read and write a lot of books followed by self-publishing them to get through this Achievement a lot quicker.

Up a Notch
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level in the Culinary career path.

The best way to get this Achievement is to keep on leveling up the Cooking and Mixology skills. Go out with your Friends and start making meals and mixing drinks to get through this. You can also go for reading books and watching Cooking Shows on TVs to make the process a little faster.

Player Actions

Aspirational
This Achievement requires you to complete every aspiration in the game.

The best way of completing this Achievement is by doing it with different Sims rather than a single Sim. Make sure to assign different aspirations to different Sims and then work your way accordingly.

Baby Boom
This Achievement requires you to have 400 babies with all your Sims.

The idea behind getting this Achievement is to have a lot of families at the same time and having a lot of babies out of them. Once again, this Achievement is going to take a while so make sure to be patient and give it some time.

Event Horizon
This Achievement requires you to earn a Silver rating on every Social Event.

The best idea behind getting this Achievement is to host one every party at least once. Before organizing the party to make sure that you have everything that makes a party great. For example, music, delicious food, bar, and more.

Full House
This Achievement requires you to get a household with eight Sims.

A household comprises of wife/husband, children, friends, partners, or roommates. At the beginning of the game, you’ll be asked to manage your household and you’ll be able to add 8 Sims to your household.

Host with the Most
This Achievement requires you to hose 50 Bronze or better Social Events.

Once again, you don’t have to host all these events with a single Sim and can be done with more than one Sim. Host different parties and make sure to include everything ranging from a bar to delicious food to make the party great.

Knock, Knock…
This Achievement requires you to visit 25 different lots in the game.

You can go with visiting your neighborhoods and go to your homes along with libraries, gyms, and other areas to earn this Achievement.

Old Lace
This Achievement requires you to cause 10 Non-Player Sims to die on your home lot.

There are a couple of ways to make the non-player Sims die in the game. You can use a Comedian Sim to make the other Sims die of laughter or use Criminal Sim to make others so angry that they will eventually die.

The Main Event
This Achievement requires you to earn a Gold rating on every Social Event.

There are a total of four types of Social Events which include House Party, Birthday Party, Dinner Party, and Wedding. The best idea to get this Achievement is to host as many events as you can and you’ll eventually get a Gold rating.

Make sure that you have meals, music, comedians, and a bar to make your Social Event successful!

‘Til Death Do Us Part
This Achievement requires you to have a Sim die at its wedding day.

Accidents happen! This should be your motto when going for this Achievement. Try and set the wedding stage on fire to make this work.

Vengeful Deity
This Achievement requires you to kill 10 Sims die with unnatural causes.

There are a number of ways to do this! First off, you can make the other Sim learn Handiness skill and then let it repair an electronic item. If it doesn’t die of the electrical shock, starve them to death by selling your stove and refrigerator.

Whimsical
This Achievement requires you to complete 100 whims.

Once again, you don’t have to complete this with a single Sim. You’ll notice three whims above your Sim’s head which will be changeable. Go for the easiest ones and it should unlock in no time.

50-Mile-High-Club
This Achievement requires you to get a WooHoo in a rocketship.

Remember that this must be done inside a rocketship and no in the outer space. Have another Sim in the Romantic mood and set out in the rocketship for this easy Achievement.

Hello, Darkness, My Old Chum
This Achievement requires you to befriend with the Grim Reaper.

To get this, you need to make a Sim die in front of you. After the Sim is dead, the Grim Reaper will visit him to take the soul. At this point, head over to the Grim Reaper and interact with it to complete this Achievement.

Also note that you won’t be able to interact with it after dying.

Serial Monogamist
This Achievement requires you to do marriages in 20 different households.

This Achievement will take quite a long time! First off, you’ll need twenty different households and Sims. Once you’ve done that, make sure to get a Sim get married within its respective household.

So… I’ll Call You?
This Achievement requires you to have a Sim’s bladder fail while its having a date.

There are two things to note to get this Achievement. Make sure that the bladder of your Sim is near to Red and a date happens almost immediately after one Sim asks out another.

Have your Sim’s bladder to the Red and ask another Sim for a date which will unlock this Achievement.

Speed Dating
This Achievement requires you to have a ‘First Kiss’ thrice at the same social event.

Make sure that your Sim has Romantic trait or Love aspiration! Once you’ve done that, you need to head over to a Social Event and get on with the Romantic Socials with at least three different Sims followed by a kiss to complete this Achievement.

Super Best Friends
This Achievement requires you to have 20 non-player Sims as BFFs.

Having more than one BFF is nothing hard in The Sims 4. After making a friend, just keep on working with the Friendly Socials to transform the Friends relationship into BFF. Do this with 20 different Sims to make this Achievement unlock.

WooHoo!
This Achievement requires you to WooHoo with 50 different non-player Sims.

Before going for the Woohoo, make sure that you have a suitable place for the interaction. You need to have either a bed, backyard observatory, or rocketship.

After you’re at the peak of your romantic relationship, go to your place and ask the other Sim for the WooHoo. Do this with 50 different non-player Sims to complete this.

Wealth and Collectibles

For the Hoard!
This Achievement require you to complete all the collectible collections.

The Sims 4 offers a wide array of collectibles which include Plants, Frogs, Fossils, Microscope Prints, Space Rocks, Fish, and more. You need to collect all of these collectibles to unlock this Achievement.

Harvested Interest
This Achievement requires you to harvest from 50 wild plants.

You’ll find a lot of wild plants in your nearby neighborhoods. Once you’ve spotted a wild plant, click the Harvest Interaction and you’ll receive it.

Rosebud
This Achievement requires you to gain 1,000,000 Simoleons in a single household.

This is a mind-boggling amount even for a game like The Sims 4. The best way to complete it is to build up a large household and then make everyone reach the peak of their career paths.

Furthermore, don’t be extravagant and only spend on things that you need. And in case you’re wondering, yes, you can use a money cheat code if you choose to do so.

Skills/Crafting

Beyond Repairs
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level of Handiness.

There aren’t many broken items that you’ll find in your home. Therefore, the best idea is to get a Woodworking Table and begin working on it. Not only, you’ll develop this skill, but you’ll also make quite a lot of useful things for your home and save cash.

Bow-dacious
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Violin skill.

There are quite a lot of ways of developing this skill. You can either buy a violin and start practicing on it or you can buy different books and start reading them to develop this skill in a faster manner.

Cast Away
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Fishing skill.

Similar to Violin skill, you can read a ton of books on fishing to reach maximum level. However, if you intend to opt for a cheaper way, you’ll find a ton of fishing ponds near your neighborhood. Pay them a visit and start fishing to start developing this skill.

Code Monk
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Programming skill.

You’ll need a computer to develop this skill. Read some books and keep on practicing programming on your computer to develop this skill and unlock this Achievement.

Connoisseurs Rex
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Gourmet cooking skill.

Gourmet cooking skill is unlocked after reaching Level 5 in the regular cooking skill. Once you reach Level 5 Cooking, start making Gourmet recipes and start reading some books to get done with this Achievement.

Elementary
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Logic skill.

Logic skill require you to play the game of chess and read books. In order to maximize this skill, you can also install a Backyard Observatory and start looking at the outer space to make the process faster.

Fired Up
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Fitness skill.

In order to reach maximum fitness level, you can either start jogging in the neighborhood or on a treadmill. Furthermore, you can also go for exercise equipment in your home to get this a lot faster.

Games within Games
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Video Gaming skill.

Videogames can be played on both mobile phones and Computers. I’d recommend going for a computer and even investing a little in the MotionMonitor Gaming Mat to make the process faster.

Green Thumb
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Gardening.

This skill can be maximized by reading books on Gardening, buying seeds, and taking care of your plants. You can also buy a Bonsai tree which will increase the level much faster.

I’m the Mix Master
This Achievement requires you mix 100 drinks.

This can be done either at home or a bar outside. If you’re going for the home, you’ll need to purchase a bar for your home. Once you’ve a bar, you can start mixing drinks and get this.

It’s Not Brain Surgery
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Rocket Science skill.

Contrary the popular belief, you don’t have to be an astronaut to maximize this skill. Buy a rocket ship and start exploring the outer space to start developing this skill.

Ivory Tower
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Piano skill.

You can start developing this skill by either buying a Piano or start playing it at a lounge for free. Furthermore, you can also start reading books on the Piano to develop this skill.

Literal Genius
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Writing skill.

Start by reading some books on the writing and then start writing on your computer to develop this skill.

Mael-strum
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Guitar skill.

Similar to Piano, either buy a guitar for yourself or start playing it at a lounge. Furthermore, you can also take some help from the books to develop this skill.

Mischief Mastered
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Mischief skill.

Just keep on using Mischief socials while interacting with the people and you will eventually maximize this skill.

Problem Child
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Mischief as a teenager.

This Achievement is similar to Mischief Mastered Achievement.

Refined Palette
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Painting skill.

You can either read some books on painting or actually start painting to develop this skill.

Smooth Talker
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Charisma skill.

Charisma skill is used in many different career paths so it’s a good idea to maximize this skill. Use Charisma social interactions and talk to yourself in the mirror to develop this skill as early as possible.

Splice of Life
This Achievement requires you to make a new plant by grafting.

Before you could do this, you need to make your Sim reach Level 7 in the Gardening skill. Once you’ve done that, graft two stems of plants to create a hybridized plant and complete this Achievement.

Straight for the Jocular
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Comedy skill.

Use computer, books, and funny interactions along with watching comedy shows on TV to develop this skill.

Tender Loving
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Mixology skill.

Tungsten Chef
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum Cooking Skill.

This is easily unlocked by reading books, practicing different recipes, and watching cooking shows on the TV.

View to a Skill
This Achievement requires you to reach maximum level with every skill.

This Achievement needs you to max every skill in The Sims 4. Find your desired skill by using Ctrl + F and srr what you have to do.

Sim Actions

All Nighter
This Achievement requires you to stay awake for a day at length.

It is very important that your Sim gets a good night’s sleep prior to completing this Achievement. Also, make sure you don’t over-exert your Sim with activities like working out and other similar stuff.

Basketcase
This Achievement requires you to have your Sim get all primary emotions within 24 hours.

You can go different emotions in any sequence, but I’d recommend that you go for a break up at the end of the day to save the sad emotion for the last.

Channel Surfer
This Achievement requires you to have your Sim listen to all Radio Station and watch all TV Channels.

This Achievement is pretty straightforward and self-explanatory!

I’ll Get Around to it
This Achievement requires you to have 10 broken objects.

Don’t use your Handiness skill to repair any broken objects and let them be to earn this Achievement.

Introvert
This Achievement requires you to do nothing for 24 hours.

The best way to do it is by switching off your phone and staying at your home for 24 hours.

My, You’ve Changed
This Achievement requires you to become maximum thin or fat in a single life.

Just starve your Sim to become thin and keep on stuffing it to become fat.

Older and Wiser
This Achievement requires you to age up your Sim.

This just requires you to play the game.

On a Whim
This Achievement requires you to complete 10 whims at a single social event.

You will always have three whims on top of your Sim. Make sure to go for the easier ones and keep on removing the ones which you are unable to do.

Over-Achiever
This Achievement requires you to complete 5 Aspirations.

This must be done with a single Sim so make sure to dedicate yourself to one aspiration and then work your way up to the other aspirations.

The Circle of Life
This Achievement requires you to play a Sim from birth to death.

For this, you need to have a baby and then play with it until it dies in the old age – of natural causes, to complete this Achievement.

The Most Interesting Sim in the World
This Achievement requires you to have a Sim with 12 traits.

The best way to complete this Achievement is by combining it with Over-Achiever and then working your way up to other traits.

Triple Play
This Achievement requires you to give birth to triplets.

This Achievement is purely based on your luck and hit and trial method.

What Makes a Sim Turn Neutral?
This Achievement requires you to stay in Fine emotion for 48 hours.

The best way to do this is by keeping your Sim’s needs in green bar and avoid interacting with other Sims along with avoiding all moodlets.
