Frozen Synapse Prime Releases for Vita This Month

By   /   Sep 5, 2014

Formerly known as Frozen Synapse: Tactics, the turn-based strategy game Frozen Synapse Prime has been confirmed for a release on the Vita on September 23 in North America and a day later in Europe.

Double Eleven is also releasing the game’s soundtrack on the PlayStation Network, both independently and as a bonus content with the game.

The theme of Frozen Synapse Prime is simple enough. Players take control of a resistance group that is attempting to stop an evil corporation from taking over their city. The game will feature asynchronous multiplayer and a single-player campaign consisting of over 40 missions.

We appreciate everyone who has followed us so far and waited patiently through almost two years of development. Needless to say we’re excited to see it out on PS Vita this month!

The developer has promised to reveal more information, and show the game’s basic combat and planning mechanics as we head closer to the game’s release. Videos highlighting the game’s online multiplayer and advanced tactics have also been said to be arriving in the coming weeks.
