Dragon Age: Inquisition Home Base ‘Skyhold’ Will Be Fully Customizable
Bioware has revealed that Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to feature a home base that will be called Skyhold, and it will be completely customizable.
Skyhold is basically a castle, which is in really bad shape, but I assume that it is the safest place in the whole country of Ferelden, and now you are tasked to rebuild and renovate this castle as much as you want when you get your hands on the game.
To showcase how different people will renovate the place differently, Bioware has released few screenshots, which you can check out in the gallery below:
Bioware’s Mike Laidlaw describes this renovating of Skyhold as:
It goes from ‘kind of wrecked castle’ to ‘your castle.’ The walls are fixed. Your soldiers are patrolling. You see your support staff growing in number. Merchants come to set up station. You get that feeling of it becoming a grand, central hub.
Do note that it will not be like The Sims where you will be able to choose every single item in the room, but you will have control over the “decorations, heraldry and symbology.”
This is a good addition to the game, and I am sure a lot of players will spend a fair share of time in decorating their home base in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
The fans of the series are dying to get their hands on the latest entry, and the wait will be over soon as Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to see the light of day on 18th of Novemberfor PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
