Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Gameplay Video Focusing On Claptrap
A new gameplay video of 2K’s upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has emerged and it is huge! The video shows a complete mission and is around 35 minutes long. The video focuses on the gameplay mechanics of the much awaited playable character, Claptrap.
The player is using a level 41 Claptrap character with the Celestial Fragtrap class mod. Some other new elements which are to be introduced in the game are also shown such as zero gravity and frost weapons.
Visually, The Pre-Sequel seems to be only a minor improvement, if at all, over Borderlands 2 but that is to be expected given the hardware it is releasing on.
Shooting mechanics seem improved which is a pretty good thing since players would want to spend as much time airborne as they could because why stay on the ground when you can float in space right?
One of the pretty cool Claptrap skills, Miniontrap, shown in the video allows players to spawn a minion of theirs while playing as Claptrap, which would fight at the player’s side.
If there is one thing Claptrap absolutely loves, its being surrounded by minions!
From the looks of it, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel doesn’t seem to be much different from Borderlands 2 but does provide a refreshing new experience. Some people might be angry with that since they are paying $60 and getting the same game they received years ago but why fix what isn’t broken?
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is being developed by Gearbox Software and will release on 14th October for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
