Attack on Titan: The Last Wins of Humanity Chain Edition Announced
Attack on Titan is getting yet another game for the 3DS, well not really a new game but a new edition of the game already available on Nintendo’s handheld console.
Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Humanity Chain Edition will be available in December.
So what’s new about this new edition? Well for starters it will allow up to four players to play together as a team over the internet thanks to the 3DS’ WiFi support.
The game will also offer limited text chat functionality and leaderboard rankings.
The new edition will also add some new stages to the game such as the Ruined Fortress and outside the wall areas, new missions and various new elements.
The Chain edition adds over 20 voices for both new characters and characters that already appeared in the original version.
The Titans in the new edition have new behaviors and the developers have fine-tuned the 3D maneuver gear’s motions, the game’s difficulty levels, and other aspects.
The pre-mission lobby has also been revamped and the interface improved.
Players who already own the original game can purchase an upgrade kit from Nintendo’s Eshop for $21 while new players can get the packaged retail or download version for $51. The old save progress will carry over to the Chain Edition.
