Assassin’s Creed: Rogue – New Gameplay Trailer Features Naval Battles
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue has gotten a brand new gameplay trailer, courtesy of Ubisoft.
The latest media gives us a glimpse into naval battles, an assassination in slow-motion and the return of a familiar face in the franchise.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is being targeted for the previous-gen consoles only. According to Ubisoft, Rogue is the “darkest chapter in the franchise” to date.
The game’s lead character this time around is Shay Patrick Cormac, a Templar that is tasked with hunting down Assassins. In the storyline, he’s betrayed by the Assassin brotherhood after a mission goes wrong. Seeing that he has his own ship called the Morrigan, Cormac will be sailing around the Northern Atlantic Ocean to boost his team and take his revenge on those who left him to die.
The game is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia in collaboration with Ubisoft Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is scheduled to release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11 in North America and November 13 in Europe. With the recent delay of Assassin’s Creed: Unity, the next-gen Creed title will be releasing on the same November 11 date as well.
