Smartphone Virtual Reality took a huge step forward recently at Berlin with the announcement of Samsung’s Gear VR Head Mounted Display.

The VR will only be compatible with the new Galaxy Note 4. And one of the first games you will be able to play on this new piece of amazing hardware is non other than the famous mobile game Temple Run.

“We are incredibly excited to be a part of this revolution in gaming, and we jumped at the opportunity to work with Samsung and Oculus to make Temple Run VR,” said Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios via official announcement.

The endless running game in which you avoid obstacles has just got even better. With this Gear VR you will be able to play the game from first person perspective.

Thanks to some exclusive piece of software from Oculus, a strap and a design which makes this VR different from others like the Durovis Dive.

The new Temple Run VR takes the action to a different location putting our thief/archaeologist in a snowy mountain top setting where he will be running for his life in order to avoid being squashed by a giant ape.

With this HMD you can even look back from your shoulder to see the scary ape as he runs towards you.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am never looking back! All that in a first person view? will surely be an incredible experience.

No release date for the Temple Run VR is known yet but the Gear VR is said to be released sometime later this year.
